Who is Luis Nieto Porto

Luis Alberto Nieto Porto is passionate about technology and dedicated to helping companies innovate in how they communicate with their customers. He lives between Barranquilla, Colombia, and San Francisco, California, two cities that reflect his connection between the local and the global.

He was born in 1985 in Barranquilla, a triplet alongside his twin brother Gonzalo, who shares his passion for technology, and his sister Cecilia, who shares not only his values but a very similar view of the world.

He is an Electronics and Telecommunications Engineer from Universidad del Norte and co-founder of TechniSupport, a company that builds custom software for businesses and startups.

His entrepreneurial path includes several B2C attempts —such as Fulltaxi, Eventados and Luppar— that didn’t reach the success he hoped for, as well as B2B ventures with better results, such as Gocargo and Airlink.

In 2015, together with his partner and co-founder Carlos Andraus, he decided to focus all of their resources and team on Sagicc, a SaaS solution specialized in AI-powered omnichannel customer service. Today, as CEO of Sagicc, he helps companies tackle their customer service challenges, using technology to transform their relationship with their users.
